We are Crosswired The Band !
We are “Crosswired The Band” a newly formed music group, who is trying to achieve their artistic goals. We are an alternative rock band, with funk and fusion influences. The band's first meeting was in November 2019, and it started out as gathering of friends who had dreams. Soon enough, it became a lovely partnership of actors and musicians who work for their goals. Our first song "Rise with Glory" was released on March 2020. Right now we are facing a second lockdown in Greece, right at the point when we were recording our first album. After a couple of shows in Athens, we were forced to stay at home and cancel the rest of them due to the Covid crisis. For us, artists and their audience are always interdepended, as the first share pictures, stories, emotions and the second give inspiration, feedback and support. As this cannot happen now as before, we all need to find a way to keep going and keep this unique relationship growing. We thought that we can continue our work and that is why we keep on creating content at home working hard on our material and escpecially our next song release "Sunny as Hell".
Johny Garlic
Johny Garlic is the drummer of Crosswired The Band. He’s playing drums for over 7 years now and he has a lot of experience with other bands and other genres that helped him to be much better as musician. He’s currently playing rock and funk not only in Crosswired but also in other bands.
Maro Lesioti
Maro Lesioti has graduated from Greek Concervatory in 2015. She is a Classical Piano Performance Graduate. Since then she has been improvising music for improv theater teams in live performances and she also writes her own music. She has attended piano workshops from international teachers ex. A. Leimoni, R. Salinas etc. As she is, also, an actress she is very interesting in music scoring for theater and films. Crosswired was for her the perfect opportunity to explore new music genres.
Sundy Flytzani
Sundy Flytzani is the lead singer of the Crosswired. She's singing professionally for the last 8 years. She begun her journey with joining bands at university with her other colleagues. Her next step was to join the choir of Panteion University and the Chores of Marina Satti. Finally, she decide to educate herself even more as a musician with taking some programs for music pedagogy and working on her own projects. Now she’s studying for the past 4 years the art of modern song.
Chris Parras
Born in 20/04/1997, plays the electric and acoustic guitar since
2019, mostly self-taught. He is musically influenced by the ’90s-
’00s indie and alt rock scene but keeps a positive stance towards experimentation within other genres, too. He has been the guitarist of Crosswired The Band since the summer of 2020 while he also contributes with the backing vocals in the band. At the same time, he works on his own musical projects using the Instagram platform (@soundchecking_).
Miguel Stavez
Miguel is the bass player for the Crosswired. His first touch with the music was on his years in high school where he tried to play drums. Quickly though, he felt in love with the bass and from that point until this day he never cheated on her. For the next years ,until he finished the school, he wrote political lyrics on the rap style. After that he and his best friend Johny Garlic joined some punk bands where he wrote the lyrics and tried to sing.
Our producer Nikos Christogiannopoulos
While he was a little kid the only thing that was crossing his mind was the beauty of music. For that reason, he began lessons for classical guitar which allowed him to make the step to the bass much easier. For all his teenage years he was inside a studio doing what he truly loved. From that point, he started to see and understand the music from a different point of view and from a more all-around perspective of view. Now he is experimenting constantly with new ideas in music, new sounds, and with anything that concerns the bass and the composition.
